Completed a Postgraduate Degree in Economic and International Criminal Law in 2002 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra;

Completed a Postgraduate Degree in Management and Accounting in 2002 at the Faculty of Economic Sciences - Business School - of the Portuguese Catholic University;

Completed a Postgraduate Degree in Real Estate Management and Finance in 2004 at INDEG — Business School;

PhD student in Political Science and International Relations at the Institute of Political Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University;

His professional activity highlights his extensive experience providing legal advice to companies and individuals within the scope of his chosen areas of law, namely in Real Estate Law, Financial Law, and Commercial and Corporate Law.

Over the years, he has actively worked on various operations, namely real estate promotion projects, investment and real estate divestment operations (e.g. corporate real estate) and real estate contracts, also following real estate financing operations and real estate and tourism licensing procedures. In this context, for several years, he has been involved in the establishment of Real Estate Investment Funds and advising the respective management entities.

At the same time, he actively participated in the area of mergers and acquisitions in various sectors of economic activity, both national and international, as well as in the constitution and restructuring of commercial companies and business groups, providing advice to several domestic and foreign companies.

Currently, in addition to the legal advice provided in the area of Real Estate and Financial Law, he has developed the provision of legal advice to boards of directors in the context of corporate relations and corporate governance, in the definition of strategic expansion and internationalization plans, also due to his extensive experience in providing legal advice to investments in Brazil.

In 2000, he began his career at PLMJ — Sociedade de Advogados, R.L., and from the beginning of his professional internship he worked in Commercial, Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions operations and joined one of the company's main Corporate Law departments. In 2003, he was invited to become legal advisor to the KF Group, where he excelled in setting up international investment operations.

He joined Sérvulo Correia & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados, R.L., between 2005 and 2007, as an associate, in the Urban Planning and Real Estate Law Unit, where he advised multiple companies, investment funds and management entities and participated in leading projects in the area of real estate promotion and tourism.

He joined Vieira de Almeida & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados, R.L., between 2007 and 2009, as an associate in the Real Estate and Urbanism Practice Area, advising investment funds, management entities, developers and construction companies, working also in conjunction with other areas of practice in large international M&A projects and operations, securitization, credit and energy.

He joined ABBC — Azevedo Neves, Benjamim Mendes, Carvalho & Associados — Sociedade de Advogados, R.L. (focus firm of DLA Piper in Portugal), between 2009 and 2013, as a senior associate, in the areas of Real Estate Law and Financial Law & Projects, coordinating and advising the structuring and setting up of real estate investment funds for urban rehabilitation and the creation of real estate investment funds and excelling in the areas of property finance.

He has been a founding partner of Rogério Alves & Associados — Sociedade de Advogados, R.L. since 2013, being co-responsible for the Business Law area and leading the Company's Real Estate Law and Financial Law Centers.

He participated in the “International Private Wealth Reception”, at the invitation of the Farrer & Co Law Firm, which took place in London in March 2016.
